Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, or more commonly, MANIT, is situated in the city of Bhopal and is one of the best engineering colleges in India. It was set up in 1960 and is named after Abul Kalam Azad, one of the country’s most influential freedom fighters and the first Education Minister, and has been offering technical education and research since then.
