
The Gurunanak Institute of Dental Science and Research is a dental educational institution in Panihati, Kolkata, West Bengal, that is noteworthy. In 2003, this was established as a privately owned dental educational facility making it the 1st institution for the building of this profession in this particular state. The construct is on 5 acres of land in a city, with an outreach center on the first level of eight floors constructed especially for dentistry in that it is a specialized institution for dentistry.
The said institution provides both an undergraduate curriculum and a postgraduate one. It has a total of one hundred students in one year for a roller program known as the bachelor of dental surgery (BDS). Followed by the advanced MDS programs for further in-depth areas of dentistry, the institute also has 32 vacancies for MDS for 7 different subjects.
