International Black Sea University (IBSU) is a private university in Tbilisi, Georgia, and the country’s first English-language higher education institution. Founded on 31 August 1995, it offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programmes in English and Georgian. IBSU currently runs 50 accredited programmes, publishes six refereed scientific journals, and teaches with local and visiting professors from different countries.
